Old Business

Parking Areas: Vice-President reviewed the Parking District Regulations and stated that each community must establish its on Parking regulations.

He asked that we vote at our next meeting to establish a Parking District.

After many deliberations we decided to vote at our next meeting to establish a Parking District for our neighborhood. This parking district will restrict all parking on the front lawns of the homeowners. This will include all homes on the Faulkner Lake Road in Stonelinks.

Website: This months minutes will be posted on the Website and if any one has any information they can e-mail it to Mrs. Vaughn at tha_vaughns@yahoo.com.

Trash Removal: It was brought to our attention that Mr. Thompson has not removed the concrete and dirt from Ronald & Chandra Martin’s property.

Vice-President Wilson stated he would talk with Mr. Thompson about this problem.

Special Event: The summer picnic and graduation celebration was cancelled due to excessive hot weather.

New Business

Neighborhood Concerns:

Grass Clippings: Please don’t put grass clippings in the drainage or blow them in the streets. This is a code violations and it also increase the chances of more flooding during the rain seasons.

Questions were raised about the value of our homes being decreased due to advertisement of homes being sold at a much-reduced rate and the advertisement of a clubhouse, fishing area and other amenities that are not available. We are concern about who will be attracted to purchase these homes at the lower cost.

A question was raised about the homes on the front (Faulkner lake Road) were not being mowed on a consistent basis and cars being parked in their front yards on the grass. Mr. Wilson explained that the management at the Golf Course House mowed the grass until 2009. After this date it has been the responsibility of the homeowner to mow their grass and not park on the grass in their front yards.

Mr. Davidson agreed to write a letter reminding all homeowners to not put grass clippings in the streets ditches and gutters in front of their homes. These notices will be placed in each resident’s mailbox. This notice will also include a reminder that our voluntary dues are $10.00 per month.

Basketball goals are not allowed in the streets. It is a code violation.

Storage Building: According to our Bill of Assurance, we are not allowed to put detached structures in back yard. Mr. Wilson stated he did not have a good answer for the question asked about storage buildings because we are now in the position to establish our own architecture committee.

Members present also requested that the Bill of Assurance be included on the Web site. Mr. Fields stated that Mr. Bob Thompson stated that each Phase will have it’s own Bill of Assurance.

Our next meeting will be October 21, 2010, at the Stonelinks Golf Course House at 7:00 pm.

Meeting Adjourned.

President: Tony Delph
Vice-President: Jeremy Wilson
